Meet Alexa Moore
Medical Receptionist – SC Sleep Medicine

We’re proud to welcome Alexa Moore to the SC Sleep Medicine team as a Medical Receptionist. With over three years of experience in medical front office operations, Alexa brings a proven ability in scheduling, patient coordination, and providing a welcoming environment for every visitor.

Alexa is CPR certified and known for her reliability, efficiency, and willingness to go above and beyond to support both patients and colleagues. She is always eager to learn new roles and assist wherever needed, making her a valuable asset to our growing team.

Outside of work, Alexa stays busy as a devoted full-time mom to two wonderful children, balancing her professional dedication with family life. Her compassion, strong work ethic, and genuine care for others shine through in everything she does.

In the Spotlight: Kristie Calhoun 
Authorization Specialist, SC Sleep Medicine 

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Kristie Calhoun, an essential part of the SC Sleep Medicine family for the past 20 years! As an Authorization Specialist in the billing department, Kristie’s day-to-day involves securing insurance authorizations and handling whatever else comes her way to keep things running smoothly. Her love of numbers and detail-oriented mindset made this career a natural fit—and we’re lucky to have her dedication and expertise on our team. 

Outside of work, Kristie taps into her artistic side. She enjoys drawing and painting and even has a hidden talent for special effects makeup—perfect for spooky season! If she could instantly master a skill, it would be capturing people in her art with more precision and realism. 

A true adventurer at heart, Kristie dreams of traveling the world to see as many waterfalls as possible. And when it's time to unwind, you’ll find her curled up with a good book and a cup of extra dark, extra strong coffee (she’s an avid coffee drinker and proud night owl!). Her dream destination? The sun-soaked beaches of Hawaii.
